ROMANIAN AIRCLUB

In 1920, on the initiative of Prince George Valentin Bibescu, the Royal Airclub of Romania was founded and became a legal entity on 13 April 1923. 

At present, after more than 100 years of uninterrupted activity, the Romanian Airclub brings together over 200 aircraft operating in 15 locations across the country. 

Having as a primary object to help those who want to discover the secrets of flying or even pursue a career in one of the most extended and successful fields, our flight school has currently trained more than 3000 students. The best of them make up the national teams, representing the country in competitions all over the world.

DEVA AIRFIELD 

“Constantin Manolache

The event will take place at Deva Airfield LRDV, located about 160 km southwest of Cluj-Napoca, and 400 km northwest of the capital of Romania, Bucharest. This aerodrome is an ideal place for civil aviation activities of general aviation and aerial operations.  

INFRASTRUCTURE

Deva Airfield offers a wide range of facilities:

  • 12/30 – Grass runway – 700 m x 40 m  
  • 2 taxiways  
  • 2 hangars 
  • 1 building featuring modern accommodation
  • Technical assistance for aircrafts
